Chicken Brownie || Salma (Kolkata) style



Time needed: Marination - 30 minutes
                        Cooking - 30 minutes


Ingredients:
  • Chicken (legs) - 1 Kg (medium size pieces)
  • Refined Oil or Mustard Oil - 400 gm
  • Ginger paste - 50 gm
  • Garlic paste - 40 gm
  • Chilli powder - 3 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper powder - 1 teaspoon
  • White pepper powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - as required




Method:

Preparation

- After washing chicken, drain off the water completely.
- Mix all the above spices (except oil) with chicken.
- Marinate the chicken for 30 minutes.




Frying

- Warm oil moderately (do not boil) in a kadai.
- Keep the burner in medium heat.
- Put half of the marinated chicken pieces in oil and fry.
- Fry the chicken till it gets the golden brown color.
- Take out the fried chickens from oil.
- Fry rest of the chicken similarly.





Your Chicken Brownie is ready, serve them hot. If you like, you can use little Tomato sauce or pudina chutney.
